DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Broadway on New Years Eve for an evening of live music! \nDave Horton has played drums\, guitar and bass in many bands since he was a teenager in Liverpool. Always a Beatles fan\, he has now turned his talents to a one-man Beatles tribute act\, showcasing a wide range of their most popular songs. Using the latest recording software\, Dave has recorded all his own backing tracks using live instruments and voices\, over which he sings and plays guitar\, for a very realistic sound. He uses Gretsch and Rickenbacker guitars\, like the Beatles did\, dresses in three different costumes as he travels through the sixties\, and delivers interesting background information about the songs\, in his Liverpool accent. \nWed 31st December – 8pm onwards\nThe Broadway Club\nNon members £3 on entry

SUMMARY:Darts Halve-It Competition
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the inaugural “Halve-It” competition on November 29th. \nHalve it is a popular darts game where competitors try to hit previously agreed targets on a standard dart board. Failure to do so within a single throw (3 darts) results in the player losing half their accumulated score. Any number of players can take part and the game can vary in length depending on the number of targets selected. \nThe event will be made up of three rounds with different targets each time. Scores will be accumulated over the three games and the highest scorers will qualify for the final. \nEntry is £3 which covers three rounds and makes up the entirety of the prize pot. A running total will be kept across the three rounds and the top-placed players will make it into the final.
